SUPER DUPER BUSY
I must apologize to my ardent readers about not posting in a very VERY long time. I have been busy with the girls and my college work that I don't really have much time for everything. To make things a little easier I bought a wireless card for our laptop and I have been spending a lot of time doing my work there so I can use their DSL and my mom can watch the girls. I figured that I better post since I have been giving Brandi and KSoFM a hard time about not posting.
I am proud of myself. The lowest grade that I have gotten on a test/quiz has been an 87% and I have been making sure that my homework is as close to 100% correct as possible so I think I am maintaining at least a B average. At first I was really worried that I was going to fail my classes but so far so good.
Jessie has found her voice and she babbles and talks all the time. She likes to blow raspberries and is always watching Cassie intensely and I swear if she could move she would be right behind Cassie.
Cassie has been a little rowdy lately. I think it's because when I am not busy with homework I am with Jessie. She doesn't get outside as much as I would like to her to be either. The only time she really gets out is when my mom takes her outside while we are at my moms. I am hoping that we will be able to fence the yard sometime this year.
I found out from our neighbor (the same one that gave us the swingset) that the guy putting up the bio diesel plant in York was going to try to buy some land out from underneath a farmer who was cash renting it from a woman. When the guy talked to the woman about buying the land she said that she was cash renting it to the farmer.....and this farmer has been farming the land for years....the guy told her "Yeah, I talked to him" but when she called the farmer to discuss what was going on the farmer didn't have a clue what the woman was talking about. How low can this guy get? How fricken mean is that?? If someone bought out something from underneath me I would be pissed. I have to say that is definitely the wrong way to get people to accept this bio diesel thing. Word has it that the guy wants the land just right across the road from us to the east so that he can put in a soybean crushing operation. When soybeans are crushed they stink really bad, worse than a pig farm, and I don't want that next door. I moved to York because of the open space, the country life feel without being way out in the country, and not having to worry about my children playing in the yard and now this shit head is ruining every single reason why I moved there. If the woman sells the land and the guy starts building I am going to be super pissed. There is a town meeting on the 12th of this month and they are going to talk about zoning the area because that will put some limitations on what the guy can and can't do with this plant so I am going to attend and see what we can do.
And if anyone has been wondering where Brandi went to....she got a puppy a little while back and the thing chewed through her DSL cable in her house so her internet isn't working at the time. Just thought I would let everyone how was looking for her know.
