CURTAINS

Before I could start hanging up the new curtains I had to call my sister and find out how to actually hang them. My windows are only 64" from the top of the window to the floor, but the curtains are 84". I know just the basics. You put the curtains on the rod, and hang the rod on the hooks on the wall. I wasn't sure of if they should be hung right above the window and then have them hemmed, or if I should measure 84" up the wall and just have them brush the floor.

My sister informed me that the later is the correct way they should be hung. So I did and the room looks really wonderful! I am almost jealous and I want to sleep in the back room now instead of putting the kids back there. I wish Darren would let me redo our bedroom.

I am in the process of getting all the junk out of the back room so that I can move the girls back there this weekend. I needed a break so I thought I would blog about my progress.

This is off topic but what has happend to Kevin, KSoFM, Billy Jo, and a few others? They never blog anymore. That's too bad because I enjoyed their blogs and I miss all the sports updates from KSoFM.
