MORE FUNERAL STUFF
It doesn't sound like we will be going up to the viewing tomorrow in Bottineau. Darren's mom figures that it's best for Darren not to go and remember Irma how she was instead of what she looked like after surgery. I guess she swelled pretty bad and they may or may not have an open casket and Darren has to run to Devils Lake anyway and buy something to wear for the funeral because he doesn't own one piece of really dressy clothing. Irma had told one of the aunts that she wanted her grandson's to be palbearers. There are so many of them though that they are going to have to choose them and Darren doesn't know who they are going to be yet. Because of the winter weather, Irma's internment won't be until the spring.
Darren was able to make it up to Bottineau with the family on Saturday to help pick out the casket and prepare the funeral arrangements. He took it pretty tough because I didn't hear from Darren on Friday until 9:30 at night so it was quiet late when I told him Irma had passed away. I felt bad cause I knew he was still at work and he had an hour long drive home by himself but I didn't want to wait to tell him either, he deserved to know.
Wednesday, the funeral day, is still up in the air. I can't get a sitter at all so unless I call Darren's mom tomorrow and see if there is anyone that can watch Cassie until the funeral is over I will have to stay at the house with the kids. I hate to do it and want to attend the funeral but I just absolutely can not take Cassie to it.

I dont' know why my other comment didn't show up a couple of days ago, but I want to say I'm sorry and feel bad for you guys. Death of a family memeber is always really hard. I hope you got to go to the funeral. If I was in town I would have watched the girls. God Bless.
