OUR MINNEAPOLIS TRIP...FINALLY!

This weekend Cassie and I are going with my mom and dad to Minneapolis to see my sister. We are leaving on Friday close to Cassie's nap time so I am hoping that she will sleep to at least Fargo but she probably won't. Cassie doesn't travel too well. If she is in her car seat longer than 2 hours she makes a big fuss about it. We are going to have to find some place to eat when she gets up from her nap and then I think we will take the food to go and then eat at a rest area so I can let Cassie run around and burn off some energy. It kind of sucks right now because I wanted to save up some money to buy things on the trip but we are so broke that I won't be able to buy a thing. I would really like to get some things for Cassie and myself but there isn't much I can do about that right now. My sister is having a house warming party on Saturday. I am not too sure how Cassie will handle a new place, different people, trying to get settled in a noisy house (especially if it's nap time). We will have to see how it goes. On a great note about the trip, at least I will be able to take Cassie to Under Water World and Lego Land at the Mall Of America. My sister even said that there is a free zoo that is also close by her place so maybe we can check that out too. I am sure Cassie will love the zoo. I feel bad because Darren is coming home late Thursday evening and I am not sure how much time Cassie and I will have with him before we take off the next day. I asked Darren about it and he said that as long as he gets time with Cassie on Friday before we take off he doesn't care but we can't leave if he doesn't have time with her and that is totally understandable, besides, I am torn between staying home with my hubby who is only home 3 days a week or seeing my sister that I only see maybe twice out of the year. I just hope that D isn't too mad about it and he's just not telling me.
