REGISTERED FOR SUMMER

Today I registered for summer classes. I am disappointed because two out of the four classes that I wanted to take this semester are not available this summer. They were supposed to be, but the instructors made last minute decisions to take the summer off. Instructors are entitled to time off like everyone else so I am not mad about it. I just wish they were still available. I will be taking Medical Terminology II, Applied Surgical Transcription, Pharmacology for Business, and Intro to Computers.

Instead of Applied Surgical Transcription and Intro to Computer I wanted to take Human Diseases and Surgical Procedures (to help me prepare by understanding the terminology used in Applied Surgical Transcription) and Applied Medical Transcription II. Oh well, I do need all these classes anyway no matter which order I take them in.

There is a new procedure for ordering our textbooks too. However, we will not be able to order the books until the beginning of April since the bookstore does not have the list of the books needed for the summer classes by the instructors yet.

It is beautiful outside today so I have decided to take the girls to a farm south of town to pick some fresh eggs. Cassie really likes doing this. We may stop by our neighbors barn and check out his yearlings too since we will be going past his broodmare barn. Then we will probably take some of the eggs to my mom’s house since she flies through eggs when she is baking.

Darren and I wanted to go out to the Spirit Lake Casino to see Williams & Ree, also known as Indian & the White Guy. I have wanted to see them for the past four years but have never been able attend. However, it looks like this year is a bust too because we cannot find a babysitter. We may go to Wild Hogs instead when my mom is available to watch the girls.
