He's of the colour of the nutmeg. And of the heat of the ginger.... he is pure air and fire; and the dull elements of earth and water never appear in him, but only in patient stillness while his rider mounts him; he is indeed a horse, and all other jades you may call beasts. ~William Shakespeare, Henry V

MEDICAID

I got some unbelievably great news from my social worker this morning about my Medicaid. When I found out I was pregnant I was able to qualify for Medicaid since Darren just started his new job and we wouldn't have insurance for three months, well my SW told me today that when a pregnant woman qualifies for Medicaid the pregnant woman stays on Medicaid until 63 days after the baby's birth no matter if you obtain insurance later on or even if we make a million dollars. There is no way I will loose my Medicaid now until the two months after the new baby. I am so excited because I was really worried about how we were actually going to be able to afford this delivery since there is going to be surgery and a specialist doctor involved. It's a blessing that we don't have to worry about this expense and that it's all going to be taken care of by Blue Cross and Medicaid. Yipee!!

Really?! That's great! I'm on Medicaid and I'm so scared I'd get kicked off right before the delivery since we'd actually have more income then. Medicaid is so nice because it will pay for so much. I'm happy you're on it because the last thing you want to worry about are all the doctor's bills.
