AN EVENING IN RUGBY
My mom thinks she might be able to be around the house on Thursday so it would work if Cole would like to come down then that would be great. I haven't spoken to Cole though since Sunday of last week so I don't know what's up just yet. I am going to try and talk to him tonight to see what's up.
Yesterday we met Darren's parents in Rugby for supper. We ate at Bob's Pizza Inn and I must admit that the place has really taken a dive. First thing I noticed is that they cut WAY back on their menu. It's just two pieces of paper in paper protectors stapled together and the prices we higher. Then we got this young waitress that didn't know what she was doing. She forgot that a potato came with our dinners and had to come back to ask us what we wanted for a potato. I had ordered a chicken thigh and fries for Cassie but they didn't have any cut up chicken so instead of coming back to the table and asking me what Cassie would like they just obligated themselves to make her chicken strips. Cassie doesn't like chicken strips and if I would have known they didn't have any chicken pieces I would have gotten her a corn dog. It took forever to get our food. We all ordered prime rib and shrimp, except for Darren who got steak, the shrimp was fine but the rest of the food was cool....not luke warm but actually cool.... like it had been sitting there for a while. The prime rib was also really tough and not the best tasting. It was a little like eating stringy cardboard. It will be a while before any of us eat there again.
After supper we went over to Pamida and Grandma Hanson bought a new pair of shoes for Cassie (which Cassie really needed) and an outfit. Grandma Hanson also picked up a couple of cute outfits for Jessie too. I was really close to walking out with two really nice picture frames and a rug for underneath my kitchen table but I just told Darren to make mental notes of them for gifts sometime.
Darren left a bit ago with his two cousins to go fishing on Devils Lake, the girls are taking naps, I have some homework to do, and the house is a wreck so I better go get something accomplished.

Did you get that feeling at the end of the day like everything went well, not great but well. Then you get home, clean up, and then lay in your bed and get that feeling. You know what i'm talking about? Or am i crazy?

I totally understand what you mean. I get that feeling a lot and for some reason it does happen after you lay down. I wonder why?
