He's of the colour of the nutmeg. And of the heat of the ginger.... he is pure air and fire; and the dull elements of earth and water never appear in him, but only in patient stillness while his rider mounts him; he is indeed a horse, and all other jades you may call beasts. ~William Shakespeare, Henry V

BUSY DAY

This morning my mom called me from work. She had locked her keys in her car and my dad was in Minot so I had to run in to DL and take her the spare set of keys from her house.

I quickly called Head Start in Maddock to let them know I wouldn't be at the house for Cassie's Head Start appointment. The HS lady called yesterday to say that she was coming at noon instead of Cassie's usual time of 3:30 because some families in Leeds cancelled. I told the lady that Cassie's normal time would be okay cause we would be home but she said not to worry about it and we will see her next week.

When we got there, mom gave me some money to finish up my Wal-Mart shopping for the baby and also for fuel. Why is it not possible to go into Wal-Mart and spend less than 50 bucks? I can never do it. I spent so much there today, I hate thinking that I have to go back there tomorrow and buy a crib mattress after my doctors appointment.

Cassie wanted to see the babies at the hospital before leaving but all the babies from the Nursery were with their mommies so we went up to the 1st floor again and saw the babies at Baby & I for a few quick minutes and then headed out for Wal-Mart.

After Cassie and I got done in Wal-Mart we came home and I put Cassie down for her nap right away because when she gets up from her nap my mom is going to come over and pick us up. We are going to run to Rugby, another little town 25 miles west of here, so that mom can hit their Pamida (a discount center store) to get salt for her water softener and then she is taking us out to eat. I can't wait and I hope Cassie behaves during supper. I am scared that with all the running around and cars rides that she is going to be pretty wound up and little kids have the ability to unwind at the most inappropriate time even though they don't know it.

My doctor's appointment tomorrow is my last actual OB appointment before baby. Next Thursday when I see the doc it's for a Health and Physical exam for surgery the following day.

When I go to town tomorrow, I am going to the hospital to pre-register so I don't have to do all that damn paper work when we get there. I am also going to fill out a Data Report Sheet for the nurses in OB so they don't have to come and ask me 1,000 questions while I am getting ready for surgery. This will free up a lot of time and I am sure the hospital will appreciate it all being done before hand.

I also would like to stop and see April so I can give her their Christmas present. The thing has been sitting on my kitchen table for 4 weeks and I am about ready to use it myself. Also, I want to take her up on the offer of taking a few belly shots for me cause I still do not have one.

I do want a baby shower too. April and Brandi have both expressed having one but I want the baby to be born first so that we know what it is. My sister is coming home for a weekend after the baby is born so maybe we can do it that weekend. I can give my sister, April, and Brandi everyone's info so they can write or call each other and figure something out. Oh, and Brandi, don't worry (you know what I mean)!!!

Well, I am off to start filling out the baby book for our new bundle.

~9 DAYS~
