A SCARY SITUATION

It's been a while since I posted pics of Cassie and I meant to post her Halloween pics before now but I've had so much going on lately that I haven't gotten around to it until tonight.

Darren left for Harvey around 9:00 pm tonight. He called me when he got to Harvey and said that when he got there, all the lights in the trailer were on but nobody was there. Reed, the guy Darren has been staying with, left him a note saying that by the time Darren read the note this guy would already be on his way to Minot to have himself admitted to the psych hospital because he felt that he was close to harming someone. He also left instructions for Darren to take care of his pets and also had a rifle and two shot guns laying out that Darren is supposed to take to a friend for him. Darren called his boss and then called the friend that the guns were supposed to go to. When Darren talked to the friend about the guns, he told Darren to maybe call the police to make sure that Reed made it to Minot without hurting himself. The police came over, took some info and the note. I guess it wasn't too much later and the friend called Darren back and said that Reed had called him and he was in Minot. Reed said that he just needed someone to talk to and he was thinking about coming home. The friend told him to stay and check himself in and do what needs to be done before coming home, they all were glad that he didn't hurt himself.

I can't imagine for Darren to go back to something like that. It would be scary. I worry that if Reed spaced out like that again that he may hurt Darren just because Darren is there, not that Reed would have anything against him or anything. Darren was worried after he read the note that he was going to find Reed dead somewhere and he wouldn't have known how to handle that if it happened. Thankfully everyone is okay and I hope Reed will stay and get the help that he needs and he won't be away too long.
