RJ DARLING 1989-2009
RJ Darling was a friend of mine. He wasn't one of the closest friends that I had, but I am glad to say that I knew him.
He was a nice man that thought of everyone before himself. He had man MANY friends. He played basketball in school and was also a member of FFA, FCCLA, and was also his class treasurer. I got to know him when I entered Cassidy in swimming lessons at the Leeds Public swimming pool. He taught Cassidy her lessons. He didn't have any enemies and became friends with everyone he met.
I was heartbroken to hear that on Friday night, for whatever reason, RJ decided to end his life. His suicide has brought grief to many people and he will be great missed by everyone whose life he had touched. His funeral is planned for Saturday at 10:30 in the Leeds High School gymnasium.
RJ, I hope that you found the peace that you were looking for. You must have been in a pretty bad place to do what you did. I am sorry that there wasn't anyone there for you when you needed someone. Rest in eternal peace, friend.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, its hard when we dont know why people decide to end their own lives. His family will be glad to see so many people loved him and cared for him.

I miss RJ dearly. I find myself thinking of him often. I just googled his name to see a picture of him while I am at work, and, I found your blog. It's very nice. And, I am sorry you were hurt by his death. I hope all is well with you and your heart has healed. Mine is in the process. I still have my moments. God Bless
