WOW
Wow...it's been a while since I posted.
Last Saturday Brandi and I went to Devils Lake and my mom came to the house and watched the girls for me. We ran and got some paint so that I could start painting and fixing up the back bedroom so we will be able to put the girls in there this summer. Brandi helped me pick out two really pretty shades of purple and a nice border. I started painting the room today when my mom came over for a bit. I think it's going to look really good. Cassie got into trouble though after my mom left, Cassie was able to reach the plastic paint tray liner and she put Amethyst Creme hand prints on the hallway wall. Luckily I caught her just as she was starting so she didn't make it all the way down the hallway and a hot washcloth with soap took all the paint off the wall.
I have registered for my Fall Semester. I decided to step it up a notch and take three classes instead of two. So now after I finish Business English and Medical Terminology this summer I will have Medical Terminology II, Human Body Structure & Function, and fundamentals of Medical Transcription. They sound pretty scary because I wasn't great at biology in high school but I am bound and determined to make it through this.
Jessie has been doing great and now that Brandi stopped working at LaMott's (her last day was today) I will be able to attend Baby & I a little more frequently now so I am really looking forward to that...it helps get me out of the house.
I don't know if my anti-depressants are working or not. I still feel like I did when Jessie and I saw the doc a couple weeks ago but the doctor did tell me it may take a bit (up to 6 weeks!!) before I notice full effect of the medicine. You really don't think it would take an anti-depressant to take that long to work if the person was severely depressed.
Jessie has been spending a lot of time in the swing. My dad was able to fix it. THANK YOU DAD. She has been in it almost all day today. It seems the swing is the only way I can get her to sleep while I get stuff done around the house. I just hope Jessie isn't going to want the swing so much that I will have to put her in it in the middle of the night to get to bed. But you do what works.
The Trade Show is in DL this weekend. My mom heard that it's only in the Burdick arena this year. Must be much smaller than it normally is. I want to go and look for some wooden picture frames for the girls. We have one with Cassidy's name etched into it and I want to find one for Jessie.
Darren's mom and sister are coming to visit on Saturday around 3-ish. I am hoping to get the wall I have started to paint finished before they get here so they can see what the room is going to look like.
Well, Jessie is up now for a late snack and then we are off to bed. Nite Y'all!
