VISITING MY UNCLE
Mom picked Cassie and I up around 9:30 this morning and we went to DL and picked up my grandma and we headed to Manvel to see my new little cousin Micheal.
He is a cute, very tiny baby and looks that looks a lot like his mother right now. We stayed for a few minutes so I could get a few quick pics of my mom, Cassie, and grandma holding Micheal. Then my mom, Cassie, and I ran into Grand Forks so we could hit Wal-Mart and Sam's Club and we just left my Grandma with my uncle so that Grandma could have her lunch and chat while we rushed our shopping.
I was very happy cause I found a cheap crib mattress and a car seat at Wal-Mart so we didn't have to run to Target like I thought we would. Then we did mom's quick running around and headed back to my Uncle's in Manvel.
On the way back to Manvel, Cassie fell asleep so when we got back to my uncles we just picked up grandma and headed back to DL.
When we got to DL, we took grandma back to her place and then met my dad at The Pizza Ranch and we ate supper and then headed home.
We got back home around 9 pm which wasn't too bad. I got the car seat together and all I need to do is put the base in the car and Darren said tomorrow we will rearrange the bedroom together and then I am all set....just in time too!!
I called Darren's mom last night. She is going to make it down Thursday evening and spend the night so we don't have to worry about waking Cassie up. I also found out that Darren's dad also plans on coming down on Friday and is also going to spend the weekend here at the house. I guess it was something that his parents decided a few days ago. Darren's parents anniversary is also this coming weekend so they planned on taking an evening and running out to the Spirit Lake Casino while they are here. It will be nice for Darren to have both his parents here to help with Cassie.
I have posted the very few pics that I took today. I also posted a family pic of my uncle's family that was sent to me by my other aunt from Fargo who was able to visit them in the hospital. Damn Hello isn't working right again and didn't post the pics in the order I had done them but it doesn't really matter....at least Hello posted!!!
