STUPID PAINT
The painting in the back room has been taking me a little while because of all the crap in the room. I have basically just been pushing around the room as I paint. I have to admit though that the colors and border look really good even through I told Brandi that she was crazy when she helped me pick out the purples. Thanks Brandi! I am hoping to be done painting the room by the end of the week but with two active girls I can only take about a half hour at a time before I have to stop for something.
I am having a problem with the paint though and I am wondering if LaMotte's will take it back or give me some kind of credit on it. After I put the border on the wall after it had dried for about three days glue ran down the wall from the border, I went to wipe the glue off with a wet washcloth and the paint wiped off the wall in places. It turned the washcloth I was using purple and I finally had to stop or I would have wiped all the paint off the wall. It's a semi-gloss enamel paint too so it should not have done that. Unless the glue from the back of the wallpaper had something to do with it but I have never heard of that problem before and I know a lot of people that have used border and haven't said anything about a problem like this. It's expensive paint too so it really upsets me. I should have opted for the Dutch Boy over the Benjamine Moore.
It was fun last night as a thunder shower moved in around 1 am. It was nice to watch the lightening and listen to the thunder. We even lost electricity but only for a few seconds and it came back on. Our first official thunderstorm of the year.
It's a beautiful day today so I may take both kids outside. First I have to dig out the stroller for Jessie that is buried somewhere in the back room. I saw it once today as I was pushing more stuff around.
Tomorrow I want to go in to Baby & I but I haven't been able to get a hold of Brandi so I don't' know if she can watch Cassie or not for me. I need to get to town because I have to pick up Easter stuff for the weekend.
Thanks to KSoFM for posting earlier too. I hadn't heard from him in such a long time I thought he was dead but he's still hangin' in. And a very huge CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Toast to received his official "lung beeper"....I hope he doesn't have a heart attack when it goes off, I probably would.

More congrats go out to my cousin Stacy Cederstrom who wrote me an email yesterday telling me that her daughter Avery is going to be a big sister in November. I can't believe she is having another baby in six more months. It feels like Avery was just born.
