He's of the colour of the nutmeg. And of the heat of the ginger.... he is pure air and fire; and the dull elements of earth and water never appear in him, but only in patient stillness while his rider mounts him; he is indeed a horse, and all other jades you may call beasts. ~William Shakespeare, Henry V

HAPPY EASTER!

To start our Easter holiday, there was an Easter Egg Hunt at the school playground in Leeds and Cassie and I had a blast. They sorted the children up into lines....K through Preschool, 1 through 3, etc...and let the kids find eggs in groups starting with the K through Preschoolers. Each child was limited to 5 eggs so all the children got some.

After we found 5 eggs we opened them up. Most of them had candy, some had quarters, and a few of the even had some pretty neat toys inside of them. At the beginning they gave up paper bags with numbers on them and after we were done getting our eggs the children got to pick out a toy according to the number on the bag. There were around 50 children and we were number 21 so we didn't do too bad. Out of all the toys to pick from Cassie picked out a yo-yo. The we had chocolate chip cookies and juice while we waited to have our picture taken with the Easter Bunny.

The whole thing didn't take too long. Only about 45 minutes but it was still really fun and Cassie enjoyed it.
